sometimes shy, other times bold

To all the others, you were a queen
a fairy tail, a canine dream

You were irresistible, those big brown eyes,
who could say no, although I tried.

You could piss me off, you could make me laugh
I'd finally give in, when you begged for half

You weren't the brightest, but you were the best
a little pearl, and a lot of jest

I thought you'd be here, long chihuahua days
but when you left, my heart went ablaze

Tell me did I fail you, or were you designed to fly
one last adventure, under the autumn sky

I wish you wings, and a chance to roam
