Constitutional Rights

I discovered fairly recently
its illegal to force me to care
so I thought about what that meant
and what I'd no longer have to bear.

So I stopped paying my taxes
I don't have any kids to send to school
what the heck do I need to be payin
I think that's really kind of cruel

I didn't ask you to have kids
you decided that on your own
so pay for them to go to school
and I'll pay for my dog to have a bone

And I don't drive too often
so I quit paying for the roads
those potholes can fill themselves
with some of these that free load.

And that car insurance I was paying?
Hate it  if I hit you
you don't have insurance either?
not my problem if  you get screwed.

And I'm certainly not going to participate
in getting health coverage for the poor
they should know better than to get ill
Lord they always asking for more!

You'd think they'd quit their complaining
those food stamps should be enough
I mean how hard is it to feed yourself
you obviously eat  plenty of stuff!

I know they just sell it for drugs
that's all those trifling folks do
I heard em talking about it in church
and I thought I'd come unglued.

I heard it in between a sermon
something about the least of these
and I thought to myself yep that's these folks
they should be down on their knees.

I'm sure if they were better people
the Lord would have blessed them so
but apparently he don't think much of them
excuse me but I have to go.

Time to get to the buffet
where after church we congregate
to talk about the church schedule
while those icky servers clean our plates.

I did a good thing and left a tip
its a bible tract you know
that looks like a $10 bill
tells them the right way to go

So good thing I don't have worry
the constitution says I have rights
Thank God we live in a Christian country
where we always fight the good fight.

Jesus said....whatever you do for the least of these, you do for me.
