How Boring It Would Be

You grow up in life thinking
that life is supposed to go
the way that you had planned it
if you planned it right, you know

You read you instruction book
and accounted for all your parts
then you gathered all your tools
and then sat down to start.

Then you saw all the pieces
Didn't fit together right
some too big, some too small
it gave you quite a fright.

Then you heard....

Throw away the instruction book
figure it out for yourself
God didn't make a robot
you're different from everyone else

If life hand you flowers
plant them in the ground
if it throws you a curve ball
smack it with a sound

Don't give up and please don't pout
that's really rather bland
flex your muscles and fight
don't bury your head in the sand.

Don't live like everyone else
write your own book
create your own story
create your own look.

How boring it would be
if you were just like me
so throw away your plans...
and JUST LIVE.
