Bugs under my skin
crawling toward my brain
inch by tiny inch
the noise is insane
I cover my ears
but they're still coming
eating me alive,
my inside plumbing
Then lightening strikes
it hurts like hell
stop the creeping crawling
make a silent spell.
any noise so small
sends the bugs to moving
and again they crawl
So I sit in the corner
quiet as a mouse
hoping no sound will chime
around the whole house
But then I take a breath
and have to exhale
it sends me to insanity
and back into hell.
This is what noise does to me.
