Dreamed I Was Dancin'

I dreamed I was dancin'

in love and romancin'

with life such a blessin'

with joy I am prancin'

Like a bird simply driftin' 

the wind currents liftin'

through my life I am siftin'

un-necessities pitchin'.

Freedom's a-comin'

can't help but start hummin'

movin' to the beat of the drummin'

my heart strings a-strummin'.

Life is worth livin'

when we stop takin', start givin'

past sins start forgivin'

look up with thanksgivin'.

All we got is each other

we're all sisters and brothers

livin' on this Earth Mother

gotta look out for each other.

Then I woke with a start

a big change in my heart

for my dreams did impart

God's new work of art.
