Grace Rain Down

In my fear, in the night

I walk alone and I pray for light

Or someone to hold my hand once more.

And then a drop through the trees

Falls on a leaf, and then on me

Could it be from the Holy One above?

Let your grace rain down on me

With your mercy please set me free

Bathe me in your peace, I pray, Oh Lord.

Give me strength to carry on

In the storm, but not alone

And when I’m tired I will rest in your embrace.

I’ll make a wish, I’ll say a prayer

I’ll know you’ve heard, I’ll know you care

Let my heart be flooded with your love.

For nothing more I will ask

But that someday this fear will pass

And I’ll feel safe in your arms forever more.
